It's going to be a bog standard generic cheapo TV , also available under
dozens of other brand names you've not heard of

Probably, but sometimes cheap can be good


Trouble is , cheap flat panel TVs have very poor image quality. It's only
the latest name brand ones that are starting to beat CRT in many ways.
To develop really good screens takes a hell of a lot of time and money -
something that panasonic , toshiba , sony etc can manage.
For the price you're looking at paying you'll be getting an old design panel
with cheap electronics
