Default Opinions on the 50" Panny HD plasma

I am seeing disgustingly good prices for the Panasonic TH50PX60 for
under £1300
I am getting the feeling the temptation will become too much and I will
finally upgrade from my Panny series 5 42" in the not too distant future.
Anyone tell me if this Hd resolution screen looks good on standard
definition input from NTL or freeview DVD etc?
I just wondered if the up-scaling will make edges choppy or destroy the
picture clarity and I can't rely on distance watching to reduce this
effect (if it exists)
Thanks
David

Not seen it myself but this review seems to imply it's up there with
the best
