Just about to retire my old CRT TV - Toshiba flatscreen 32" 100hz. Currently alreadly have a DLP projector that supports HD 1080i so I use that for my films, I have a budget of 700 quid and would like some recommendations for a TFT or Plasma screen, whatever is better. I'm looking at buying a LCD TV . Price and lookswise the SAMSUNG LE-40F71B is looking quite good because it's 1080p. my 3 year old 42" philips plasma has died would like to use the reciever box (philips FTR 9965) that came with this with a replacement plasma as this has numerous inputs, picture in picture etc. it connects via what looks like a standard monitor cable - is this likely to work with plasma tv's with a normal pc type input. thanks for any comments.
