Some help needed here!!
Been going through my home cinema settings and notice settings dynamic
range, the default seems to be off but the choice is: Off-2/8-4/8-6/8
and full, what should I set it to and what does it do?
Thanks

turn it to whichever one doesnt alter the dynamic range at all - presumably
the manual will tell you.
basically, on a soundtrack at a given volume level you can have quiet bits,
and loud bits.
if you limit the dynamic range, the sound will be altered to make the sound
levels more equal - some people like that as they feel they otherwise have
to keep turning the volume up and down.
those of us who want to watch movies with the sound as it was mixed by the
experts leave any range altering turned off.
