I am very impressed. I guess the real test is when it dies and I need
assistance to replace it but until then.....
That is indeed an excellent level of service. However, I'm not too sure
about their £25 'arrangement fee' for the buy now pay later option.
I know, it caught me half way through the purchase as I missed the info.
Bummer. Actually, it is not digital points charge, it is their chosen
finance company. It is an option at the end of the day - and it's
cheaper than credit cards if you intent to pay it over the months.
This said, £25 change for 9 months free credit on over £1K makes it an
effective interest rate of 3.3% (just like card companies are doing,
grabbing a return through a 'charge').
At 3.3% I decided it was better to invest the dosh I had put aside at 5%
with Ing. Still makes me a few pints for free (make sense?).
