forums is usually a good source for best prices. Try also to buy
through John Lewis if you can (with price match) to get their 5 year
warranty...

I paid £1000.00 for the for the 42" with cabinet just after Christmas at
Empire Direct and am still chuffed to bits with every aspect of the TV. I
seem to remember they were doing the same set with either the pedestal stand
or wall bracket for about £100.00 less. This was without having to use any
vouchers.

Yup - that comes up to the £900 figure!

I dont know of any PX60 buyers that are unhappy with their sets.
(Apart from missing the reductions in price that early buyers missed
out on - ie me!!!.)

Empire direct want £1259 for the 42" '600' and cabinet at the moment.
They dont seem to sell the '60' any more.

So we've got
42" '600' with cabinet - £1259 (empiredirect)
42" '60' with cabinet - £1299 (comet)

37" '600' with cabinet - £1135 (digital point)
37" '60' with cabinet - £949 (digital direct)
