Dad wouldn't have a use for PinP unless he could watch one sky channel
in one window and another sky channel in the main picture, and I
presume that isnt possible.

He's going deaf too, so it sounds to me like the 60 is perfectly
adequate.

"running the set in" for a couple of hundred hours. What's all this
about then?


Basically when you first use a plasma, older sets needed to be run in
by not having the brightness too high. I did do this with my set -
even though others have stated on these sets its not necessary. From
memory, I don't recall seeing anything mentioned in the user guide
about running in - which if it were necessary, you'd expect them to
show it. (I may be wrong about that - it was a year ago I bought it!)

When in doubt though, its best not to take chances - thats what I
thought. Its no real issue though. Just means not using the "dynamic"
setting for a few weeks.
