Labs X-Fi sound card. Do you think I will need a external amp or do you
think the sound card will be able to drive it?

External amp is definately needed. Your soundcard doesn't generate enough
power, it would be like trying to attach your speakers direct to a CD
player. That card looks like it's designed to connect to a surround sound
receiver/amplifier via a digital connection


Also if I don't use a amp what is the best way to connect the AM6 to the
sound card as it terminates with the wire only.

Any ideas?
